EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

*gasp*

EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

*blush*

I just got the game and incorporated versions of some of my Legacy Sims into it for the beginning empire. Strangely enough, a certain Jacobian Priest who is greedy, a haggler, and misanthropic seems to be present in every single kingdom I've made afterward. At least that's how I always saw him (particularly the misanthropic part).

I'm so excited to see this :D

Jacoban Priest just suits Cecil to the GROUND. I'm stuck with him as a Monarch, and I'm sure he wouldn't be satisfied to be anything less, unless he could be Pope.

I was stumped for his Traits and Fatal Flaw. Those seem good. I went with Dedicated, Fun-Loving, and Hubris. Solitary would probably have been better, actually, but I thought it would annihilate him to be a Solitary Monarch. Fun-Loving was a concession to the tub pirating. Hubris was a given. To me, that makes up for not having picked the other ones, because if you have played it, Hubris is a BEAR. Evidently, if you are a Monarch with Hubris, your subjects mock-curtsy and kneel before you, then point and laugh. At least, I think that's why they're doing it.

EDIT: Oh, yes, durrr: are you enjoying it? I'm having fun just playing! I think you get attached to certain combos of Sims, so I have some I tried out in my first kingdom that I'm going to use.

I was also stumped. I haven't used the Hubris one yet, so I don't know what that's like. I really wanted to give him fun loving as well. Hrm, maybe the next kingdom I'll change that. You know, if he just so happens to migrate over there.

Solitary and Misanthropic seem to be rather similar with the negative moodlets, and, come on, "expressing scorn for so-and-so" just made me laugh. Oh, and the "feeling superior" positive moodlet for talking with a non-Jacobian also made me laugh. Actually, he just makes me laugh in general, which is why I love him :D

Edit to your edit: Yeah, I really am. I'm having some stability issues with some combos, like I, for some reason, can't have a monarch that is both cruel and evil. Pregnant female monarchs have a graphic glitch and turn completely black until they have their kid. But other than that, I've been having a blast with it!

It looks as though any Jacoban gets the "feeling superior" buff from talking to a non-Jacoban, not just the priests. Also, your Sims will still do things behind your back--like playing Kingball and converting to a new religion. I hadn't even done anything with my Bard yet and when I checked on him, he had a negative moodlet from getting whacked in the eye at Kingball and had become a Jacoban (and he had a Kingball paddle in his inventory.) I made him renounce his faith. I dunno, man--he just isn't the religious type and if he were, he wouldn't be a Jacoban. I may use him in Puritania, although he looks a HECK of a lot like Cecil, only less fit and a bit blobby with black hair and blue eyes and a lot of blue jowls, too. And a totally different personality, of course.

YAAAAAAAAAAAA.............
(Continues on for a bit)
Cecil, Max, well played. Really. And a baloon to the medival world works quite well, in my opinion. Rather like the wizard of oz.
Looking very much forward to seeing how this all plays out.Glad your wrists are better enough that you could type this, too.
...AAAAAAAAAAAAAAA....
(I'm not entirely sure at what point the freaking out stopped, so I'll spare you the rest.)

Agh, want, want, want! My poor laptop can't handle TS3, though, so it's going to be a while before I can play this. But at least I can read your story! :D

This sounds pretty good. I'll keep reading

(Though the noise I made when I heard Machiavelli was sort of inhuman.)
